La relación con el patrimonio industrial y el patrimonio natural

Las antiguas instalaciones industriales conservan las huellas de lo que fueron, pero también abren nuevas posibilidades de uso y relación con el entorno. A partir de las experiencias de ICOMOS CIF, DEPO2015 y La Térmica Cultural, esta mesa propone acercarse a los desafíos que surgen al trabajar con estos espacios: cómo intervenir desde la arquitectura y el paisajismo, cómo respetar el patrimonio natural y cómo incorporar nuevas actividades culturales sin perder de vista la identidad del lugar.

Former industrial sites retain traces of their past, but also open up new possibilities for their use and relationship with the surrounding environment. Drawing on the experiences of ICOMOS CIF, DEPO2015 and La Térmica Cultural, this round-table discussion aims to explore the challenges that arise when working with these spaces: how to intervene through architecture and landscape design, how to respect the natural heritage, and how to incorporate new cultural activities without losing sight of the site’s identity.
